Our client provides knowledge seekers with the tools, facilities, services, and global access capabilities for everything they need to get closer to their audiences. They are passionate about engaging with their industry colleagues by empowering researchers with resources to be successful today and the thought leadership to be most relevant tomorrow. They are now looking for an experienced market research professional to support research projects and build their market presence in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

· Report directly to SVP, Client Solutions to support the development and strategic implementation of sales strategy related to its data collection services

· Employ a strategic selling approach with the goal of generating revenue through data collection services in Japan

· Build new client relationships and expand existing business with current clients in the Japanese Market

· Manage all aspects of the sales process including searching, qualifying, meeting, negotiating, and closing clients

· Monitor day-to-day management of data collection services and sales accounts to ensure accurate and current information

· Maintain thorough knowledge of trends in data collection services in the market research industry

· Develop an understanding of clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate

· Cultivate and strengthen client relationships through developing an understanding of their business objectives and ensuring exceptional client service by managing appropriate accounts.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:
· Strong aptitude for sales with familiar knowledge of data collection services in the market research and marketing industry
· Network of contacts and clients in Japan will be a nice to have
· Oral and written fluency in Japanese
· Effective communicator and able to explicitly convey clear and concise information to clients, as required
